Party Announcements!

Hi Everyone!

I have two party announcements for this week!  Information will be posted on the Parties and Events Page as well.

Camp Fire! (Weather Providing)
I made the announcement this past Sunday at Youth Group that Loving Grace Alliance Church has a recreational fire permit.  Our first camp fire will be during regular Youth Group time in two Sundays from now, if the weather cooperates.
Who: Loving Grace Alliance Youth Group
What: First Camp Fire
Where: At the Hayes Mill Road Church
When: Sunday, November 4th from 5:00-7:00pm
Why: Because we can. :-)

Additional Notes:  I'll be bringing marshmallows to roast.  I plan on using whatever sticks I can find in the woods along side the church.  Please bring any camp fire chairs or sticks if you are against sitting on tree logs  and using sticks from the ground.


CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!
Wow!  It's already time to figure out the Youth Group Christmas party.  I figured we should make the announcement early, so people can try to plan ahead.
Who: Loving Grace Alliance Youth Group
What: Youth Group Christmas Party!
Where: At the Hayes Mill Road Church
When: Sunday, December 9th from 5:00-7:00pm
Why: Celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Additional Notes:  We will be doing a White Elephant gift exchange.  Rules are fairly simple.  Everyone is to bring a wrapped gift (or gifts) to the party.  The gift(s) should be worth no more than $5.00 total.   Be sure the gifts are uni-sex (meaning can be either for a boy or a girl.  So no Barbie's or G.I Joe's.)  We will then go around and exchange the gifts one at time.  There will be a more in-depth explanation of the White Elephant when we actually do it.
