Sorry for the delay in posting the weekly announcements. I've been very busy at home and at work, so I haven't had time in the last week to update the site. Anyway, here's what we have going on.
First and foremost, Youth Group is now meeting at the Hayes Mill Road church location! This Sunday will be our first Youth Group meeting at Hayes Mill Road, so I'm very excited. I don't really know where we will be meeting inside of the church, or what changes we will make to the format of the Youth Group meetings, so it will be a learning experience for all of us. The meeting time has not changed. We will meet from 5:00-7:00pm. If the weather cooperates, we will meet for part of the time outside, so please dress appropriately.
Youth Group outreach ideas are needed for this Sunday. Fall is here, so my first idea is leaves raking for some of the church members. Please bring any and all community service ideas with you this Sunday. I will be speaking with the adults based upon our decision this Sunday.
Youth Group is still looking for a second female leader to help out. If you have any suggestions, please let one of the Youth Group leaders know.
The Church Open House is next Sunday, October 28th. I will need some of the Youth to hang out during the Open House to help promote the Youth Group to any visitors. Please see any of the Youth Group Leaders if you are able to help out that day.
