Happy Monday Everyone!
I hope everyone had a happy and enjoyable July 4th and July 4th weekend. I only have a few announcements and prayer
requests, as I have been out of town since Tuesday afternoon. I’m not as in-tune with the happenings of Loving
Grace as I normally am. So, without
further ado, here we go.
The Youth Group will be meeting this Wednesday at our
normal time and location. The night’s Special
Guest Speaker is Ed Webster. Everyone is
welcome, so come on out.
Youth Group Party date will be announced at this
Wednesday’s meeting. (It’s about time,
right?) Come out, and be one of the first
to know! For those of you who cannot
make it to the meeting, I will post the date on the blog on Thursday
morning.
Also at this Wednesday’s
meeting, I will be asking all of you for Community Service ideas. We, as
the Youth group, should have an active role in helping our community and our
church families. Community Service could be fund raising or volunteering.
I would like for us to have at least one Community Service idea ready by
the start of September. Bring your thinking caps Wednesday!
I hope everyone has memorized the Verse of the
Month! I’ll be quizzing everyone I see
this Sunday. I’m teaching Sunday school
this Sunday, so I know I’ll get to see some of you. Galatians 4:4, “But when the fullness of time
came, God sent forth his son, born of a woman, born under the law.”
I have prayers of thanks for
safe travels. I just came back from
seeing my side of the family in Upstate Western New York State. We had almost no traffic delays, and we had
great traveling weather.
I have prayers of thanks to one
of our church families who recently adopted.
I just saw on Facebook that *L* has been with us for a month! It amazes me how quickly that time has gone
by.
I have prayers of thanks that I
got to see another new addition to our church family two Sundays ago. *S* was so tiny and cute. I don’t think my son was that small, so it
was very cool to see such a small wonder.
If anyone has any prayer
requests they would like posted, please send me an e-mail or tell me when you
see me.
I guess I had a lot more announcements and prayer
requests than what I first thought.
Anyway, that’s all for now. Next
post will be Wednesday, Lord willing.
-Michael
