We find ourselves at another Monday. Two more days until Youth Group and Walt's presentation. I know I can't wait. :-) So, without further ado, here are the Monday Announcements and Prayer Requests.
We had a great time at the Berlin Park this past Saturday afternoon/evening. We had great weather and a good turn out. We had lots of fun playing Flag Tag, golfball toss, going on a nature walk, and just being outside. We are planning the next party, and we are taking all ideas. We have ideas for the Funplex in Mt. Laurel, going to the beach, movie night, and game night. All ideas are being considered right now, so if you think of anything, e-mail me or let me know next time you see me.
Live on stage! This Wednesday! Walt Cromwell! Be there for the Youth Group meeting as Walt talks about music and Christianity.
As a random observation, I saw a hummingbird today. It was the first one I've seen this year. I always seem to forget how small and fast those little guys are.
We received ran over the weekend. Thank you to those that prayed for rain. The ground can still use more, but what we got is a start.

I am still looking for Community Service Ideas. I forgot to ask the youth Group for suggestions and ideas last night, so that was an over-sight on my part. (It seems like there is never enough time to get to every topic every Wednesday.) When we plan our first Community Service project, I will post details on the blog.
I ask for prayers of healing for one of our church family’s grandfather. He is in the hospital now. He had to get his hip replaced, and now he is in rehab and healing. We pray that he heals quickly, and is able to go back to his normal routine soon.
I ask for prayers of comfort as one of our church family’s great-grandfather recently passed away. We can all take comfort in knowing we worship a loving and merciful God, but there is pain and loss in this life. We ask that God’s mighty hand be over the family in their time of loss.
I ask for prayers for one of our church family’s niece. She is about to move waaaaaaaaaay out west, and she will be away from her extended family. We pray that God will be with her on her journey, and that she finds a good, holy, church family in her new home. We also pray that the family staying here are able to adjust to the departure of her and her family.
That's all for now.
-Michael
